do you know you're unlike any other,
whee. thats 3 days in a row now. i've finally broken a new record. and this thought struck me on my way home. have i been to harsh on my commentaries on denilson? i mean, he's still shit, but is he really that shitty as i have described? the very first thing that came to my mind was that a team cannot be made of 11 stars. prehaps 3 or 2 stars and the rest have to be able to facilitate play (which is in a sense what denilson has been doing). i mean, you cant blame him for not being spectacular and stuff. has some of his work been gone unnoticed? is there something in him that wenger sees and the rest of us ordinary football fans do not see? honestly, i hope so. we've invested far too much in him to see him just flop like that. i mean, gilberto silva was criticized at first, but when the stats came out and we saw how much dirty work he did for the team you cant help but respect his attitude. so i hope its the same thing with denilson. and even if you dont want denilson, who could we have placed there? i guess its more of a case of lesser of 2 evils.
and today was horribly depressing. i got 10/18 for my chem prac. i honestly think i was the lowest in class. sigh. i'm so dropping sciences when i get to jc. and my life will most likely not involve something with science either. i'm not the kind who can memorize loads of stuff and dump it all out during the exam.

where's kanye when you need him?
bam. and we draw to west brom. thanks to another beautiful almunia mistake. have you ever seen a mistake so perfect and one which just falls into place so nicely till it just becomes a piece of art. a magnificent masterpiece. brilliant. if so almunia must be a really great artist. cause he just seems to seriously creates this blunders out of nowhere. the first of his kind. a creative goalkeeper. making those runs to slap his defenders out of the way to create such magnificent goals, albeit own goals. seriously. what the hell he was doing for the second goal we will NEVER know. sheer brilliance is always misunderstood, as they like to say.
on to a more serious note though. i honestly would like to see the crazy German start. i mean, he maybe old, crazy and comes off his line way more than almunia (at times) but there's still hope that he has those skills that he displayed in our 05/06 run to the champions league finals. if anything i would love to see him start just for the novelty of it. it would apparently be his 400th (or was it 300th?) appearance for the Club. wonderful.
and our least favourite arsenal player started yesterday. really, wenger. why even bother starting denilson? just put a rock there instead. at least it cant give away stupid fouls and get booked. really. anybody but him. please.
and tonight we say goodbye to the march holidays. a holiday in name but not a holiday in reality. a rather misunderstood period in the student's life where he will wrestle with homework, projects and other commitments (which will be probably more than usual school) while feverishly wondering why they even wonder calling it a holiday. however i cant wait for the 1st april holiday to come (although its a friday. damn) oh well. you take what you can, eh.

the silence of decay.
oh dear. this blog is honestly falling into disuse. and the holidays are over too. it seemed so fast. like i slept through the entire week (metaphorically, not literally. sleeping isnt that important to me). but i got a new com! (one of the reasons i wasnt sleeping that much). its pink :D and much faster than my old com. i can finally play stuff like pes and fm without lag. and i started a new game on fm11! liverpool. its kinda okay i guess with stevie g and torres playing well. but there's seriously no other good right back other than glen johnson and i loaned martin kelly out. lol i just realised that this blog only comes into use during the holidays. actually there's lots to blog about during school but THERES JUST NO TIME. i dont want to go jc. later even more stuff than secondary school. and my table's in a right mess now. i THOUGHT that filing would make my table neater. apparently not.
sec 4 just feels so busy. i've played so little soccer this year. i've been sleeping later and later. and getting more and more unfit all the time. and my typing speed has gone down the drain too.
its kinda ironic how at the start of each holiday you have such great plans about what you want to achieve and by the end of the holidays you end up only finishing whatever is necessary and the rest is just scraped. horrible.
and my jays spoiled! i'm so disppointed :( i thought they would last longer than that. there's something wrong with the wire and now i need to tape it up to ensure than there is still connection. but i still love flat wires :) they look super cool. plus they NEVER tangle. i can testify to that. never once. never ever ever. there should be some kind of flat wire for headphones.
and about arsenal. i'm super disappointed by the loss to birmingham. there was so much hype about arsenal winning the first trophy and nobody gave a chance to birmingham ever winning. and guess what. BAM. we lose. up till now i still think that letting william gallas was a mistake. and its not based on the performances that he put in for spurs either. its the understanding that he brings to the back 4. with so many new centre backs there's no time to form partnerships with each other. worse, no time to form understanding with their full backs. so for all those arsenal fans who think that clichy is shit and sagna is becoming worse, sorry, you are wrong. if anything clichy has improved. and i think that he will actually become the main left back for us for the next few years too. sorry kieran gibbs, i dont think your're good enough to dislodge clichy. few more years perhaps?
and i'm seriously worried about the vermaelen situation. he's out for the rest of the season. and even when he comes back i have no idea if he'll ever be as good as what he once was. look at rosicky. eduardo. diaby. hopefully not ramsey.
and seriously, wenger should sell diaby and denilson. diaby's a reason player, strong, good at shielding the ball and good dribbling. but he wants to play as a number 10. and guess what? we have fabregas. nasri. wilshere. rosicky (although i dont think he deserves to play there). so he's often in some deep midfield position. and he plays like shit there because he just refuses to hustle at times which is just unacceptable. so its not a case of diaby being shit, its just that he's being played out of position. so just let him go, let him find some other club who will be willing to let him stroll about and forget about his defensive duties (because he can seriously do quite well on his day - which is unfortunately quite a few days) instead of continously trying to convert him into some deep midfielder. he's already 24. if he made the jump it would have been much longer ago. pity. he looked quite promising before his injury.
and denilson. i have no idea what the heck he's doing at arsenal. yeah, he can pass accurately. fair enough. but most of this part are sideways passes. recycling possesion. fair enough. BUT HE DOSENT BLOODY TACKLE. i mean, its quite amazing he's still so soft after playing deep midfield for such a long time. and he loses the ball quite easily. basically i have no idea what the heck he is. he's not a holding player, he's not a regista (he lacks the accuracy on those long passes) and he's definitely not a box to box (not with his kind of work rate). he's pretty decent on set pieces (taking them, not heading the ball) and has a good long shot. but thats about it. AND HE'S 23. oh dear. please, wenger. sell him. i dont even think he's premier league quality. one of the lower clubs for la liga perhaps.'
and with all those articles about which players arsenal need to buy during the transfer window, heres my own piece of mind. we should buy someone who has that raw pace of theo. theo's magnificent, but he's being injured way too much. we need someone who can force the opponent to play a deeper backline and open up more spce between the defence and midfield. sure, nasri's pacy, van persie's sort of pacy, but its nothing compared to theo. and also nasri tends to come in to run at the defence. theo stays out wide most of the time so a nice long over the top should almost certainly reach him as theres a larger angle for the midfielder to aim at. and also prevents the keeper from coming out to get it. lol my description of this player make me think of aaron lennon. or swp. honestly i would like to see them at arsenal. although i wonder how much swp would play considering that he only has pace and nothing else. oh well. its just too bad, eh.
